About this STEM integrated story of implementation

In this Story of Implementation (SoI), teachers from Poland implemented the learning scenario “Ocean acidification and its influence on the dissolution of calcium carbonate” created by the team from Portugal and combined Biology, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, and English to guide their students in a reflection on climate change, fossil fuels, ocean acidification and calcium carbonate. Through experiments and online classes, students learned of the importance of reducing gas emissions, in particular carbon dioxide, because the increase in its atmospheric concentration has an enormous impact on the life of organisms living in water, especially in such a large body of water like the ocean.
