About this STEM integrated story of implementation

In this Story of Implementation, teachers from Italy present their implementation of the learning scenario “The Pollution and the Greenhouse Effect (the Earth is in danger, let’s protect our planet!)” originally created by teachers from Romania. Combining Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, teachers engaged students in reflections on climate change and the consequences of the actions of the individual on the community. They introduced STEM careers such as environmental engineer, environmental biologist, physicist of the atmospheric environment or meteorologist, and addressed the following real-life questions: “How does the atmosphere on Earth work and how does it affect the weather conditions?”; “What can we do for preventing the climate from changing?”.
