The STE(A)M IT project has developed a series of guidelines for teachers in order to overcome barriers to STEM integration. It gathers the different types of challenges that might arise and how to better tackle them. The document is also part of the European Integrated STEM Teaching Framework.


Getting to know the STE(A)M IT learning scenarios

The STE(A)M IT project has gathered the learning scenarios to help teachers contextualize STEM topics into the real world and help students understand the connections between science and the world around them. The document is also part of the European Integrated STEM Teaching Framework.


How to present STEM jobs in classrooms: Handout

The STE(A)M IT project has created a handout containing the key points of the Guidelines on How to Present STEM jobs in classrooms document. Teachers can find suggestions on how to integrate the topic of STEM careers and jobs in their classes, especially with the use of career sheets, video interviews and podcasts, as well as activities and follow-up suggestions. The aim is to support teachers to integrate career guidance into their teaching.  The document is also part of the European Integrated STEM Teaching Framework.


Handbook for Career Advisers

The STE(A)M IT project together with the Career Advisers Network has developed a series of guidelines for teachers interested in career guidance. The document is also part of the European Integrated STEM Teaching Framework.


Introductory Videos

The STE(A)M IT project has created two videos to better understand the main project outcome, the first European Integrated STEM Teaching, and its aim to integrate STEM teaching in the classroom. Both videos are aimed at primary and secondary teachers, policymakers, heads of schools and researchers.

Video 1 – The First European Integrated STEM Teaching Framework

This video explains the current challenges in the STEM field, what the Framework is and its key elements, as well as to whom it is aimed. Watch it here!

Video 2 – How to Navigate the First European Integrated STEM Teaching Framework

The second video guides you through the main key points of the STE(A)M IT Framework, such as the stakeholders benefiting from it, why integrated STEM teaching is important, the pedagogies and principles that support it, and resources to integrate STEM teaching. Have a look at it!
