Integrated teaching practices competitions for primary and secondary

Working with other teachers makes the lessons more interesting and connected to real-life to students and your work more meaningful. Teaching in an integrated way STEM or even STEM with any other subject reflects like more accurately (and shows we need to work together to obtain the greatest achievements).

Share your integrated teaching practices through the STE(A)M IT competitions for primary (competition 1: 4 – 12 years old) and secondary (competition 2: 13 – 18 years old). Three strands available:

Stream 1: Submit a new Learning Scenario on Integrated STEM Teaching using the STE(A)M IT Template;

Stream 2: Submit a new Learning Scenario on Integrated STEM Teaching using the STE(A)M IT Template tried out with students (i.e. submit your Learning Scenario and a Story of Implementation explaining how it went with your students);

Stream 3: Try out one of the 11 original STE(A)M IT Learning Scenarios in class and tell us how it went with a Story of Implementation.

Winning Learning Scenarios and Stories of Implementation will be included in the Scientix repository as well as STE(A)M IT portal. Winners will also be invited to join the STE(A)M IT Career Advisors Network.

Read the full instructions, terms and conditions of the STE(A)M IT Competitions for primary and secondary.

Hello, good evening. I´m taking part in the STE(A)M IT Competitions 2021. I´m working on my LS and when “Lesson plan” section arrives I can read the following sentence (*) above the table. However, I don´t see the Annex 1 in my template. Should I fill it myself? Thank you so much
(*) “The implementation of integrated STEM teaching and learning is facilitated by the use of specific pedagogical approaches (PBL, IBL, etc). In order to facilitate the research done by the teachers and the design of activities by teachers, a selection of such approaches is presented in Annex 1. Maintaining Annex 1 in the Learning Scenario and citing where necessary is mandatory”

    Dear Isabel,

    Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention.
    Please ignore the sentence above the table regarding annexe 1. In your annexe section, you only need to add the sources/materials your used/created for your lesson plan.

    Good luck with the competition!

Hello,
I sent the learning scenario for the STE(A)M IT Competitions 2021, Stream 2, but it is not on the activity map, nor did I receive an email that it was rejected. How can I find out if everything is okay?
